Zack Krajnyak is an award-winning actor, performer, musician, writer, and teaching artist based in New York City. Hailing from Central Pennsylvania, Zack first came to the city to study at New York University, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Vocal Performance with an Emphasis in Musical Theatre.
Since graduation, Zack has taken to the stages across the city and country to play a variety of roles including Eddie Birdlace in Dogfight, John in john & jen, Sam in Ghost the Musical, Sparky in Forever Plaid, Demetrius in Titus Andronicus, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Prince Agis in The Triumph of Love, Sparky in Forever Plaid, and Anthony in Sweeney Todd, a performance which won him a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has sang at Radio City Music Hall and Yankee Stadium.
When not working in front of the camera, Zack occasionally directs, most recently for Siren & Sailor Theatre Co., a NYC-based company that he co-founded in 2018. Additionally, he works as a teaching artist, bringing arts programming into schools throughout city and instructing lessons (voice, piano, music theory, and acting) out of his home studio.
Zack enjoys writing and covered pop culture, television, and movies on various virtual publications but has also taken to blogging in recent months as a means to process these extraordinary times in which we now find ourselves. A member of Actors' Equity Association and a frequent student at the Barrow Group, Zack is looking forward to new beginnings full of artistry, work, and storytelling. as the world continues to go back to some semblance of normalcy.
