Zack Krajnyak is an award-winning actor, performer, musician, writer, and teaching artist based in New York City. Hailing from Central Pennsylvania, Zack first came to the city to study at New York University, where he graduated with honors with a degree in Vocal Performance with an Emphasis in Musical Theatre.
Since graduation, Zack has taken to the stages across the city and country to play a variety of roles including Eddie Birdlace in Dogfight, John in john & jen, Sam in Ghost the Musical, Sparky in Forever Plaid, Demetrius in Titus Andronicus, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Prince Agis in The Triumph of Love, Sparky in Forever Plaid, and Anthony in Sweeney Todd, a performance which won him a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has sung at Radio City Music Hall, Yankee Stadium, and other incredible venues around the city and country. He currently studies acting at the Wynn Handman Studio.
When not performing, Zack occasionally directs, most recently for Siren & Sailor Theatre Co., a NYC-based company that he helped co-found in 2018. Additionally, he works as a teaching artist, bringing arts programming into schools throughout city and instructing private lessons (voice, piano, music theory, and acting) out of his home studio. Zack passionately believe that part of the artist's job is to foster a love of the arts in young people.
Zack is a self-described nerd, a dog dad to a young cocker spaniel, and an enthusiastic amateur baker. Zack teaches privately and through the acclaimed New York City Center.
